The series “Pau´s World” takes place in an imaginary setting, where the colours are fresh and relaxing.

The floor is completely covered by a huge, soft and smooth quilted carpet, decorated with a large number of  pictures and objects that have a variety of uses. The carpet forms soft hills that give the impression of a colourful landscape full of images.

 On the carpet are all kinds of objects: animals, vehicles, musical instruments, story books, kitchen utensils, puzzles, dolls, etc.

They are the typical toys and felts which can be found in any child`s bedroom.

The felts are smooth, made of various kinds of textile materials, with rounded shapes and very soft. Some toys are just for playing and others have a more educational nature.

Everything is very appealing to the eye. We avoid strong, loud colours and objects with aggressive shapes.

The vegetation, buildings and objects pop-up in a magical way whenever they are needed during the story-telling.

In some places there are various layers of different cloths placed one on top of each other, shaped as flowers, which can be unfolded. They are sown to each other on one of their sides so that when they are lifted up and placed vertically, they can form elements which will be of help in the development of the story.

For example: when one of these cloths is lifted, it forms a great big letter “A”. This gives the cue to a series of stories or “gags” which will help to explain the meaning of that symbol, in this case, the letter “A”.

Another example: on the carpet we see a road drawn over the padded floor which looses itself on the horizon. Suddenly, we hear a siren, a firefighter´s truck appears (a toy-truck with soft and hard parts), it stops before our heroes, they jump into it and race away. They are going to rescue a felt kitten from a tree.
